Our Mission

432 Ventures is an entrepreneurial lab and holding company for launching and building new technology ventures with a social mission. Our current focus areas deal with building new software applications that harness aspects of process methodologies, data analytics, and web 2.0 technologies to increase socially responsible behaviors -- while simultaneously being economically viable from a business perspective. Our approach takes promising ideas from our focus areas and runs them through a systematic approach to market research, P&L modeling, and identification of social benefits. Most ideas never make it past this stage. For those that do, we develop a lightweight business plan, begin developing wireframes and prototypes, discuss viability with some potential customers for feedback, and iterate. And then iterate some more. Crowded Comics is the first company to come out of the lab, which was launched in beta in February, 2012.

Why 432 Ventures?

432 Ventures was started by David C. Burnett. The 432 stems from the transliteration of his initials to numerals. 432 Ventures is a holding company for David's entrepreneurial ventures and investments. Previous 432 Ventures have included a consulting company, a venture capital market analysis and database company, and an online publication back in the web 1.0 days. In addition to David, 432 Ventures also leverages the contributions of several other budding entrepreneurs, with a range of skillsets including business development, strategy, design, and development.
